Cradles to Crayons and Store to Door

Recently Store to Door began working with a Massachusetts-based, not-for-profit organization known as, "Cradles to Crayons."  The mission of this special group is to provide poor and homeless children with basic everyday necessities as well as a range of items for fun and education.  From strollers to car seats to books and clothing, Cradles to Crayons provides items that enrich the lives of children and the people who love them. 

To generate the supply of products needed, Cradles to Crayons regularly organizes large community collection drives, and Store to Door provides the portable storage containers they need to hold the donated items.  We deliver as many containers as they need, then either deliver the containers direct to the Cradles to Crayons facility, or bring them back to Store to Door for storage, until needed.

Animal Advocacy Group and Store to Door

Last year, Store to Door teamed up with the Animal Advocacy Group and students from the Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York, collecting items students from the school decided to donate rather than throw out.

We placed storage containers at numerous drop points around campus for collection then staged the contents at Store to Door for a massive garage sale. And what a success! Over 20 tons of items were kept out of landfills and approximately $8,000 raised for charity to care for homeless pets.

The Animal Advocacy Group/Compassionate Consumers is a not-for-profit organization based in Rochester NY.
